Help! Milk split in diaper bag... I'm clueless!

It smells NASTY.  We have a coach diaper bag and its cloth material inside and a black non-cloth material outside.  How can I wash this?  Is it safe to put in the washer on delicate and then air dry?  Any suggestions?

    I believe the Coach stuff says to wash with a cloth with mild soap and water. However, milk smells disgusting. I would probably try to keep the outside as dry as possible and maybe soak a washcloth in water and laundry detergent then clean the inside/dry, then repeat until the smell was gone.
