    Awe, come on Gibs....I would give you some applause if this was on point, but it's not.  Sorry.  He clearly looks like a boy.

    eh, I could care less that she thinks he looks like a girl--he's got long hair & fairly delicate features.  When he was an infant, I had people tell me he looked like a girl all the time. 

    What irks me is that she thinks this is something that should be upsetting to me (otherwise, she wouldn't have wasted her time pointing it out in a post AND making a poll about it. gibs only posts when it's to take a jab).  Like I should be disappointed by my child's appearance.  I assure you, gibs, I am not.

    No.  You are all reading too much into this.  I was just surprised b/c I never paid enough attention to know his name, and I hadn't noticed the "boy" reference in the ticker, and I've seen the pic a few times recently and just truly had thought it was a girl.  I actually wasn't trying to start a major thing until everyone jumped all over me.

    And frankly, if even the mom admits that he does have long hair and delicate features, and 1/3 of the nesties who vote say the pic looks like a girl, I clearly wasn't way off in left field.

    So no, I didn't mean to be offensive about someone's child, and that is something I don't do.  But I thought the pic was of a girl until today.

     

    Whatever. That's it.

    Well see, I believe you. If you said it to just be a b!tch, YOU wouldn't have said you were not trying to start anything.

    It's the Poll that I think was uncalled for.

    you're entitled to your opinion.  So am I.

    The poll results ought to provide a lot of credence to my impression that it was a girl.  Plus I'm guessing that more than a third of the nesties really think the kid looks like a girl but didn't vote or didn't answer truthfully b/c they hate me and/or didn't want to offend.

    But get over it.  Even the mom said the kid looks "delicate" and has long-hair.  "Delicate features" + long hair = people will assume girl.

    end.

    It's f*cked up and creepy to start a poll about someone's child's appearance. He looks like a little boy. Gibs must hang out with a lot of rock jawed little boys sporting buzz cuts.

    I dont think he looks like a girl.  I even cropped out his shirt and looked at only his head.  I showed it to dh and my kids and they all said its a boy.  

    I LOVE his long hair and am jealous of how nice his hair is!!  GORGEOUS locks!  :)  

     

    And Im not voting and playing into Gibs games.  Gibs...we have never had any issues...but I do think this is out of line to make a poll about it.  You could just ask the question and not do the poll.  Either way what difference does it make if her son looks like a boy/girl to you?  HE is adorable either way.
