Baby Snacks?

What baby snacks do you give LO that they can feed themselves?  Any recommendations?

Pretty much all these plus tofu, tiny cubed mango and nectarines.  She loves the fruit cut up.  It's slippery but as pp said, you can roll them in crushed cheerios and that makes it easier.

  • banana, biter biscuits, puffs, yogurt melts, small stuff.

  • Tonight I spread some avocado on a flour tortilla then put some low sodium ham and a piece of american cheese on top and rolled it up nice and tight.  Then I cut it into bite sized pieces for him. He LOVED it!

I also found some no added sugar individual fruit cups at target. It was a HUGE multipack with peaches, pears, and mandarin oranges. I cut those up and he eats them like a piggy!

We also do just plain chunks of avocado and bananas, puffs, pasta, chunks of cheese ravioli with pureed sweet taters as the "sauce."

Last week I made some turkey meat balls with TONS of ground up veggies in them and he LOVED them!

  • Biter biscuits and the cereal puffs that dissolve and yogurt snacks. I sort of think DS is behind though...
