I have the What to Expect the First year but I suck at reading it each week. I also picked up some bfing and sleeping books but DS turned out to be an easy baby (pure luck) and I never read them.
But sometime I wonder if I'm going to miss something I should be doing because I'm pretty well very relaxed with things...DS has been great about letting us know how much he wants to eat and sleep, and when, etc.
Re: What parenting type books are you reading?
I stopped reading books when I was 20 weeks pregnant, if I have a question I google it or ask on here, but don't follow the books.
I feel it takes stress off me, because I am not worried if she is preforming enough etc.
I am currently reading And Baby Makes Three: The Six-Step Plan for Preserving Marital Intimacy and Rekindling Romance After Baby Arrives.
Sounds ultra cheesy....but its actually pretty good. I read some to DH and he has started reading it too. We havent been having problems, but I just wanted something to help make sure our relationship stayed strong. We struggle to find enough time together.
I think a lot of couples could really benefit from it...especially when I read the DH Vent posts!
