How is Old Navy's return policy for online purchases? I've got 8 things in my cart that are all on sale and I've used the 30% off promotion. Am I stuck with them all if they do not fit? Can I exchange in the store? Can I flat out return and get my money back?
Re: Hippo are you here?
I am not Hippo, but clearly I'm a stalker since I opened this post. Anywayyyy....
It should say either in the item description or in the cart if the item can be returned. Unless it's online exclusive, most things can be returned in store. But there are a few things that can't. You can exchange in store or return and get your money back as long as you have your receipt. I believe their policy is 45 days.
Can you tell I have an ON/Gap problem? Getting a card there has only perpetuated it
Here's an example - I know a lot of their maternity is mail only, so I just looked a shirt up for you.
See how it says return by mail only under 'add to bag'?
Ok- thanks! I have no issue with return by mail, I just don't want to buy anything that is "no return" of any kind. I don't buy myself clothing very often (nothing ever fits right) and I can't remember ever buying myself clothing online. I just want to know I can send it all back if it doesn't work out. Most of what I chose should be fine (tank tops and shirts) but just in case.
Very good to know!
I'm butting in too.
If you do have to return by mail, make a copy of your invoice before you send it back.
I returned $60 worth of clothes to Gap, and it "got lost".
I had the tracking number, but I didn't have any of the numbers on my invoice because I didn't make a copy and had to send them the original. I might have been able to fight it, but I was fed up with Gap's long mat. pants not being long enough and I was past the 45 days at that point. Sad that I'm out $60 and clothes.
Of course you are needed! How did the maternity stuff you got for your trip hold up? Did it fall apart in the wash? (I've had this issue with ON before.)
and Ginifred- I'm sure I will have to forgo pants completely when I get KU. I'm on the edge of plus size and regular clothes (which makes it hard enough to find pants that fit) and when you throw in the height issue, I figure it's not worth the trouble. But thanks for the tip with the invoice. I imagine I would add insurance on a shipment like that just in case now that you've warned me.
Oh wow that really sucks Gini! I have always made copies and wondered if I was silly to do so, and now I am glad I have and will continue to!
My stuff has held up really well - I am wearing some of it now and I really love the bathing suit especially.
None of it is fancy of course, but for maternity shorts/t-shirts/knit dresses you really can't beat it.
