Big Fat Pain in the Rear

Literally! :)

I work in an office all day and my tailbone is KILLING ME!! I can't seem to find a good position or pillow that helps. Aren't there some sort of specialized pillows that are supposed to help wih that in pregnancy? Did anyone else have this problem? What helped you? Thanks!

  • i don't even sit all day and my tailbone is always getting out of whack, especially during pregnancy.  nothing helps except for getting adjusted by my chiropractor.

  • I've heard of women bringing in extra large yoga balls in exchange for their chairs or switching them out during the day...could you do that?

  • I went to the chiropractor a lot and also found a comfy pillow that helped.  Otherwise, I just tried to make sure I got up and walked around at least once an hour. 
  • Donut. I had to use one when I bruised my tailbone falling down the steps when pregnant with Maggie. It helps. I sit on a yoga ball at work and it actually puts more pressure on your tailbone. I found it's good for sciatica though.
