Tornado warnings last night

No tornados in our neighborhood, thank goodness, but down the road, there are trees on houses.  So scary!  The sirens went off at about 9:05pm and Elijah was already in bed.  The wind picked up and my ears popped.  DH grabbed Samuel and headed to the basement and I grabbed Eli and headed down.  I ran back upstairs and grabbed the ferret.  Kind of scary, but not too bad.  We hung out in our playroom in the basement, DH set up the pack-n-play for Eli, and we watched Finding Nemo.  It was kind of like a family adventure.  

All in all, though, I'd rather not hear the sirens go off at 9pm again.

Scary! Makes me glad that we moved out of what's dubbed "Tornado Alley" in Ontario. I wonder how a friend of mine's doing... she lives in an area that HAS been hit by tornadoes before, and apparently she lives in a trailer... hopefully they didn't get any twisters last night!

Midland had a tornado last night.  We camp up at Awenda a lot so it made me worry for all the campers in tents up there! So scary!
