My child is big. He was born at 10.5 lbs, never wore "newborn" clothes (not even home from the hospital -- didn't fit), was out of 0-3 by 6 weeks, and at 6 mos is in some 18 month clothes (onesies and rompers) but mostly 12 month. He's busting out of his infant seat (snugride32) and is almost ready for the 3rd setting on the exersaucer.
I feel like he's so much bigger than he was at 4 months, when he was 27.5" long and just shy of 17 lbs. Yesterday he had his 6 month appt. and I was shocked to find that he's only 18.2 lbs and 28.5 inches. I've been pretty much dead on every time I've guessed his stats before appts, but this time I was guessing 20lbs and 30". He just seems so much bigger than his stats.
Anyone else totally shocked by their child's stats? Either they were much bigger or smaller than you predicted? Just curious.
Re: surprised by LOs 6 month stats, anyone else?
