I read to be on the look-out for an allergic reaction because some babies have issues with soy. I gave DD some tofu last week and she had no problem. I mixed it in while making some fruit puree.
DD is ready for finger foods so I cut the tofu into the smallest of squares. She can pick them up and eat them on her own although sometimes the pieces are too mushy and I just help her out.

She loves it!
Cut into sticks (french fry size) so she can hold it like a slice and bite off or I dice it into finger food size.
If it is mushy I will roll it in some of the rice cereal so she can get a better grip.
Check wholesomebabyfood.com about freezing- they might have suggestions.
