Help! Sore throat!

I got a call from daycare on Monday morning that DS had a 102 fever. I picked him up and by 5 hours later, his temp was still not down after giving him tylenol. I took him into the ped, and DS has a really bad sore throat. They said all we can do is give him tylenol/motrin for pain relief. His fever broke on Monday night, but he is not eating now. He's had very little the past 2 days. He won't even eat his purees. He just cries when he has to swallow. It's awful! I want my happy baby back. Any one have this happen to their LO??

    Do you BF?  I've heard that BM soothes sore throats.  I would for sure lay off any solids until he feels better.

    yeah...well I pump and supplement with formula. I've been trying to give as much breastmilk as possible.
