Most definitely they will need extras... I've worked as an extra for several movies filmed here. If you are serious about being an extra, I can give you the names of casting agencies who do the hiring! It's lots of fun.

In fact, this very minute I'm starting to watch "She's Out of My League" to see if I made the final cut! I worked as an extra at Mellon Arena.
