Jake's 9 mo stats, and some NBR good news for me!

First: 9mo checkup was great! The 'peanut' has now hit 23 lbs 6 oz, and is 30"! Hard to believe we were ever worried about his size!

Second: I accepted a new job this morning! I'll be the front of house manager for a restaurant/bar that I have been associated with for the last few years! I've been a part time bartender/fill in server, and we DJ there every Friday. When the owner found out I was dissatisfied with my current work situation, he jumped right on it and offered me the job...the hours will be about the same, but the schedule will have me away from Jake in better increments (currently I only see him about 6 hrs from Sunday night to Friday morning...not cool.) The pay will be about the same as I make now, but will save me 1000 miles a month in commuting, which is a ton of gas money, and about 16 hours of driving!

***I'm giving my notice here on Thursday, so if you're my friend on FB, don't mention this there...there are a few patients that are friends, and I need to make sure I share the news carefully!****

I plugged his stats into a calculator (I don't always ask, our pedi mentions it sometimes, other times not) and it came up 85th for weight and 90th for height. He wears between 12 mo and 18 mo clothes, depending on the brand.
