A doesnt like to nap lately...

he cat naps for about an 1/2 then is wide awake but you know he's still tired and fights going back to sleep. He doesnt sleep in the car, or when we go for walks, he's a busy-body like me! Has to see what's going on at all times!

However is does sleep a lot at night, 6-8hrs at a time. I'm spoiled w/his night time sleeping, however I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, if you will.

Will he nap if you are holding him?

Lil Miss was the exact same way. Slept great a night, only napped if mommy help her.  Otherwise, she was up all.day.long.

We had the same issue at about that age. My problem was that she was acting sleepy so I spend a lot of effort trying to get her to sleep and it hardly left any time to play and enjoy her. Finally I relaxed and decided if she wasn't going to sleep to just play with her. Eventually the napping got better.
