how long after did you have to wait to ttc again (whether it was regular, iui, ivf, with meds whatever?)
This question never dawned on me, and there is a post on the IF board that is freaking me out with responses saying between 1 and 3+ cycles they had to wait (obviously I know this is dependent on what they do or do not find/do during procedure . .. ) but as always, I'm not getting any younger here.
Re: ladies who have had a lap
I think my situation was a lot different than yours...as mine was a lap for removal of ectopic and diagnostics....whereas yours is just diagnostics. It was 2 weeks after the lap until I was taken off pelvic rest....and I think that's normal for all laps. So that pretty much takes you out of the ttc game for that. IMO...I was sore enough after the lap, its not like I wanted to be!
I have to tta for 2 months, but I think that is mostly to get my body back to normal from the ectopic, not the lap. My sister has had lap surgeries done (for endometerosis) and she was able to ttc after the 1st cycle for all of hers. Depending on what they find / do, you can actually be more fertile sooner after the lap.
I hope it goes well for you....and I hope you get answers. Look me up if you have other questions about the recovery, etc.

I would have asked that at my post-op appointment but I had my lap done around day 21 of my cycle and on post-op day a week later I got a bfp. A friend who has endometrosis was actually told to TTC the next cycle after her lap since that's when her chances were best so it all depends.
