Any news or updates?

I know we?ve asked this in posts before, but it?s always fun.  As of right now, how many kiddies are you planning on?

Re: PG-Mom-TTC check in

  • It's crazy to see my name at the top of that list!!

I'll post my real update later because I'm heading out now to go to my 38w appointment.

  • Any news or updates? Sophia is walking! I put a little video of it on Facebook, I'll probably add it to my blog (that I never update) if anyone wants to check out her drunken wobbling :)

I know we?ve asked this in posts before, but it?s always fun.  As of right now, how many kiddies are you planning on? I want 3 girls!

  • Any news or updates?

My back pain has finally subsided!  Woo hoo!  After 4 weeks of constant pain, this is such a relief.  I'm guessing that the baby dropped and it's head is no longer right on that spot.  I no longer take for granted walking after that experience!  I'm anxious for my OB appointment tomorrow to see if I've made any more progress.  I'm doubtful, but still optimistic :)

I know we?ve asked this in posts before, but it?s always fun.  As of right now, how many kiddies are you planning on?

We are planning on 2-3.  In all honesty, it will be 2 unless we have 2 of the same gender and then I think we'll try for the 3rd.  This of course is all contigent on how quickly I am able to get pregnant again since I'm getting up there in age.

  • Updates:

No new updates here.  I have my next appointment on Friday.

More kids?  This is it for us. Big Smile

  • Updates - K is finally starting to smile back at us when we smile at her.  It took her forever to do this.  It is super cute.  She gets all excited when we enter the room, waving her hands all around and cooing, she used to just look our direction.  Now we're seeing some excitement.  That's fun.  I think she tries to laugh but isn't really sure how to make it happen.  She gets a big gummy smile on and then makes ka-ka-ka noises.  I think she is trying to laugh.

Kids - We are done.  I am looking into getting my tube tied. I never want to go through the PP period again.  I wish I would have done it during the c section.

  • Not too many updates here. Still feeling good overall. Baby hasn't dropped yet and is currently trying to escape through my rib cage. Fun times! Feeling more ready. Just trying to get things done before s/he comes! I've moved on to reading 'So That's What They're For' and 'Happiest Baby on the Block'. It's weird to be reading about outside babies! :)

We want at least 2 but probably 3 kids. I firmly believe that every child should have a sibling. If for some reason we couldn't conceive again we'd adopt to have a 2nd.

  • Any news or updates? No updates. I'm CD 50 and there are no signs of anything. I think I ovulated last week, well all the signs were there, but I don't know for sure...and if I did I ovulated about the date I was supposed to if I would have gotten my period last cycle.

Anyway...I have my yearly this afternoon and I'm hoping I get some test done and my questions answered.

I know we?ve asked this in posts before, but it?s always fun.  As of right now, how many kiddies are you planning on? Hopefully 2.

  • News: Mari's completely off her reflux meds and she's having both good and bad days. I think she's starting to teeth - her hands are constantly in her mouth and the drooling is out of control. Also, Mari is starting to reach for and grab at her toys :) we just discoveredthis while playing yesterday and it's so cute!! On the momma/baby front, I got two new toys!! Peter bought me a linen organic sakura bloom ring sling for Greece. Mari and I are getting the hang of it, and it's not easy, but I'm motivated. Also, I went to a fabric store and bought 5 yards of osnaburg cotton and made a non-stretchy Wrap for the kangaroo hold for Greece (it's a lightweight cotton and the wrap is single layer).

kids: I'm with Ashley: 3 girls please!! Heck, I'd even have 4!
  • Any news or updates? Waiting on the blodd test results this week. I have another u/s scheduled for July 7 where we will only get to see the bean and not the gender. I'll be doing my best not to try and figure it out. ;) Also, just finish paying off ER bills - not fun.

I know we?ve asked this in posts before, but it?s always fun.  As of right now, how many kiddies are you planning on? We said one and done. DH said if we change our minds, we'll adopt but this is it for us.

Oh - GL to all the those TTC! Lots of baby dust!!! Also - I can't believe how many Jan babies we'll be having on this board. The holidays are going to be quiet compared to July and Jan.

  • Any news or updates?

Well apparently I have the "mask of pregnancy" now.  I have had several people point it out to me (like I couldn't see it for myself).  I also am feeling completely HUGE right now after everyone I saw yesterday commented on it and my dad told me I'm humungus.  I couldn't believe how many stranger comments I got yesterday of people telling me I look ready to pop.

I went to my Dr's appt yesterday and found out I gained 9 lbs in 3 weeks!!!  I don't know how either!  But it only puts me up to 29 lbs so I guess it isn't the end of the world and I lost weight at the end of my pregnancy last time.  I also took my 3 hour gestational diabetes test yesterday so fingers crossed that it goes ok this time.

Overall I feel pretty good.  My only real complaints are the awful sciatic pain and the constant heartburn (even on Zantac).

I know we?ve asked this in posts before, but it?s always fun.  As of right now, how many kiddies are you planning on?

We have always wanted 4 kids, we just didn't expect the first 2 to be so far apart.  I'm 32 now so if we are going to have 3 kids the next two will have to be awful close in age!  We shall see...

  • I'm definitely starting to slow down.  I think Baby G dropped over the weekend.  My belly looks lower, & I don't have the constant pain in my ribs like I did before.  Also, I am going to the bathroom CONSTANTLY!  I have my first internal on Friday.  I'm nervous, but very curious to see if there is anything going on in there.

We always talk about 2 kids.  Right now, I keep telling DH that I hope he likes this one b/c I'm not doing this again, but I know that I don't really mean it, & I want LO to have a sibling.  I really hope it's a boy next time though so that there's no pressure for a 3rd!!!

  • Nothing really new here.  Just doing the baby dance a lot and having fun :-)  I haven't ovulated yet this month, but I was pretty crampy over the weekend.  The waiting to O then test part is what's driving me nuts!  I'm all about immediate gratification, but getting pregnant doesn't work that way. Tongue Tied

DH would like 2 kids and I would like 3 (ideally 1 of each)

  • Updates: Alexa is now in the "older infant" room at daycare full time. I think Eric and I both cried about it yesterday... She is just growing up so fast. Walking everywhere, not sure what huge milestone is next? Potty training? I am in full party planning mode and I can't imagine what a wreck I am going to be on her birthday, maybe its a good thing the party is the day before! She is one her 3rd antibiotic this month. Hoping 3rd time is the charm, she has a chest x-ray scheduled for Monday and if that doesn't reveal anything they will have to take other diagnostics measures to figure out what is going on with her.

QOTW- In a perfect world 3 girls, but I know Eric wants a boy eventually and I'm ok with that too ;) Although some days I can't imagine anymore then us "three musketeers" - life just seems so perfect, but I know I will get baby fever eventually.

I totally know where you're coming from on that front.  Sometimes I can't imagine adding another person to the mix and how could I possibly love another child as much as I love her?

Exactly. Even though everyone says you will have that love for another one it is hard to imagine.

ETA - I have no idea how this posted twice.  Ooops.

  • Updates:  Finally starting to show enough that people I know are noticing.  I love it!  I am still really struggling to sleep on my side - ALWAYS wake up on my back, which stresses me out, but I figure if anything bad were happening, I would know it (I hope!)  Baby boy is very active, which is my absolute favorite thing about pregnancy - it's just so fun to feel all these little movements and know it's our little guy in there!  What else - we painted the nursery this weekend and I am going to register next weekend.

More kids?  I just can't answer this for sure until I know what it's like to have one.  My guess is we will probably have two, but it's quite possible we will be one and one.  But who knows...only time will tell.

  • Updates:  Nathan and I have been flying solo this week with DH OOT for work...boo!  We are getting ready to head on our very firs trip alone (Nathan and I) and I am super stressed!  Nathan also has a tooth!  It came out of nowhere!  I miss my toothless baby!

Kids:  I would love to have 3, and hopefully somewhere in the mix there is another girl.  I don't know if I will be able to conceive again - we are just so thankful to have one!

  • Updates: Starting to lose weight whereas in the 2nd trimester I was gaining rapidly. Dr. says everything is ok. Baby is making larger movements and rolling across my abdomen - I keep trying to catch it on video but I haven't been able to yet.

Any more kids? Yes, we'll keep going until we have a boy. Even if the 2nd is a boy and we want to keep going the most kids might be 4 (we each have 3 siblings so it's familiar for us!)

  • Updates: We are all good here.  The kids play together a lot now and it is so cute. Summer vacation starts today(although I go back in 2 weeks for summer clinic).

Any more kids? Yes, probably one more just making sure it is a good idea financially. I still want one more girl, although there are no guarantees.

  • Just started week 10 and I'm feeling ok. I have a little bit of back pain. I think its from trying to get used to carrying around my new gigantic beewbies Stick out tongue

We had always said we wanted 3 kids, but lately we have decided to wait and see how we do raising one. Then we'll see if we thank we can handle more.

  • Updates: Well...I am due for AF any time now...I was expecting it to be here by now, but my cycle isn't exactly regular since I've come off of BC....so if AF doesn't make an appearance in the next few days I'll be taking a test!!

How Many? We're just trying for one now...hopefully we could have more if it fits us :)

  • Any news or updates?

Nothing new here....still trying!  I don't think our "timing" was very good this month though.  I'm not charting though, so who knows.  My cycle was only 24 days last month vs. my normal 28 so I don't know what that means???

I know we?ve asked this in posts before, but it?s always fun.  As of right now, how many kiddies are you planning on?

Since I just turned 35 probably just 1..hopefully we're lucky enough.

  • Gianna just turned 2 months old yesterday and is growing by the minute. She now weighs 11lbs 4oz and 22.5 inches long. The Dr says her lower half is extremely strong for her age, which I figured because every chance she gets, she wants to stand up....She is cooing and "talking" more and more everyday it is so cool....

How many kiddies do I want??? I would love 3, but I will be very happy with 2, I really want G to have a sibling, whether sister or brother..but I would love to have another girl ;)  But I would be just as happy with a boy....

  • B is getting to be so much fun. She blows spit bubbles, reaches for and grabs toys, and has discovered her hands. Still having some bottle issues but things are looking up in that department. How many kids? I definitely want 2. DH is not so sure but I don't want an only child.
  • News or updates?

Kellen will be 2 months old on Thursday!  I can't believe it!  Josh has been OOT for the Air Force for the past 2 weeks, so I've been a "single parent."  Let me tell you---it is tough!  Luckily Kellen is a very good baby, which helps a lot.  Kellen is smiling nonstop these days.  I love walking in to his room in the morning, saying hello to him and seeing that gummy grin!  He is very laid back and easygoing and really only cries when he is hungry.  Seriously, I think this kid could sit in a wet/dirty diaper all day and not care one bit!  LOL!  He also coos a lot, which is really cute.

How many kiddies are you planning on?

We'd like to have a total of 2, preferably a girl next time.  If we end up having another boy, we might try again for a 3rd, but we'll see...

  • We had our first shower on Friday night, I got Sophie, so I am pretty excited.  Our families have not mentioned any shower ideas to us, and they are normally planned when the baby is here, so we went to Sears, Wal-Mart and Babies R Us to get things that I feel I need ASAP.  Costco had Huggies on sale, so we got some of them too.  I have mentally checked out of work lately, which is bad, but I really can't help it.

I ended up talking to the construction works and threatened to take the bull dozer if I went into labor and they had me blocked into the driveway.  The next day we had a note saying we couldnt use our drive way starting this week, so they listened.  But they are making the house shake, and LO doesn't like it apparently.

I have my last bi-weekly appointment on Friday.

And I would like 2 kids.  DH wanted six, we agreed on four, but I doubt I will get past three.

    A & T Since 2009 Parents of A born July 2010
  • PG: Still waiting on my first appointment - it's next Wednesday.   No other news in that department.

Mom: Caroline's birthday party is Saturday.  Between just having moved, still trying to get unpacked, being freaking exhausted all the time and not knowing local vendors, I'm keeping it very low key.  Looks like we'll have just under 20 people and I'm keeping the foods very simple and decorations minimal.  I'm excited for the big reveal at the end of the party though!

QOTW:  I think I'm in the two and done camp.  I feel like 2 will make our family complete.

  • PG: m/s is still all day.  I had my midwife appt yesterday and got to hear the heartbeat which was really cool.  my NT screening is scheduled for July 19, so I'm anxiously awaiting that appt!

Mom:  not sure, I think maybe 2.  I might be in the minority here, but so far, I am not loving being pregnant.  I know, I know.. its early.  aside from seeing/hearing the baby (which is incredible), I just hate how I feel, I'm exhausted, my boobs hurt, blah blah.  I hope that changes soon because I really want to savor every minute of this!  I don't want an only child, so I think 2 is our limit!

  • My symptoms seem to come and go...and I don't like that.  Even if it's that stretchy, crampy feeling, I like it.  It lets me know things are still okay.  Still have sore boobs, but they're not as crazy lately.  Fatigue is still there, but not nearly as much.

Tonight Brett brought up the conversation of how we're going to tell our families.  I was really happy because he's been very reserved so far, in an effort to protect us in case something goes wrong.  So, him bringing up the topic was great.

With it being so hard to get pregnant with the first one (even though we DID get it done in the 1 year time frame....almost) I keep saying it'll likely only be one child.  I'd like more though.  So, we'll probably have this one and just see if anything happens down the line.  I'd like to say we won't do the hardcore trying that we did with this baby, but, I just don't know.  I'd love to have 2 girls though.
