I just had to hide another person on facebook....pretty soon I won't have anyone left!

But seriously I understand your pregnant, but do you have to post a picture of EVERY single piece of furniture you buy and put together!?!  And this is coming from someone who it took 16 months to get pregnant herself you would think she would maybe think for a second how painful it was for her to read/see all that stuff back when she wasn't pregnant.

I think people are just so excited that they don't realize how it may impact others.  I have a friend who needed IUI to get pregnant, and once she did, her profile picture has been her ultrasound, she told everybody on Facebook as soon as she saw he first ultrasound, and every post is now something about pregnancy/morning sickness/etc.  I try to be supportive because I know how excited she is, but it's also really hard to see it *that* much!

I just experienced this today myself.  She is actually a friend of a friend and I didn't even know she was frickin pregnant until FOUR ultrasound pictures popped up this morning on my wall and then another one saying... 17 weeks and back pain, any suggestions.   

I have always tried to pride myself in NOT being bitter and being happy for people that are pregnant, afterall it's nature, a HUGE part of it... but now, knowing I will never ever experience it.... it's getting harder and harder.   We are going through the adoption process so there isn't a day, barely a second, that goes by that I don't think about all of this IF crap!

Hey, once we get to know each other better and once you fill out an application and we do background checks on each other, maybe we can replace those friends with each other on facebook!

I feel your pain hon. I have hidden friends too. The updates just get to be too much.
