North Dakota Babies

Wendy!

I paged you about this a while back, but I don't think you ever saw it.

I wanted to know what you love about the key fit carseat so much.

You didn't feel like it was extremely heavy?  I mean, I have nothing to compare it to, but I won't even take it up out of the car anymore.

Re: Wendy!

  • no, i didn't see it, sorry!

well, not that this matters, but i like the way it looks and it seemed like it was a lot more 'cushiony' for the baby.  i went to the store and felt the seats of the gracos and they didn't feel padded at all.  I also like that it goes up to 30 lbs or 30 inches.  G would still be able to use it at almost 15 months if he wasn't so darn tall (actually I've used it recently and he still fits in it quite well)

it is really heavy and because G was always in the high 90's weight wise it made it so much worse!

  • :::butting in::: We have the Chico Key fit as well and never had any problems with it. Alexa is 16 pounds and although its not a dream to carry it around the only time I do is when I drop her off at daycare since Eric needs it to pick her up, otherwise I take her out of it. We are only about an inch and a half away from the height max, so we will be buying convertible seats real soon.

  • Yea, the padding I definitely understand! It definitely looks comfy and feels pretty nice too. It seems very sturdy and I also like that the weight/ height goes up pretty high too. I was just wondering if anyone else feels like it's as heavy as I do... And Kim you confirmed that too. Are they all so heavy??
