Ugly Baby

Not on ND...

But DH and I were at a family get together and a couple shows up with a 6 week old...  I went over to swoon like you are supposed to and I saw her and oh my! 

I said something to DH like I don't want to say anything bad about a baby but she was not as cute as I expected.  DH says, oh...that family is known for making ugly babies.  They grow out of it, but the babies have a rough start.

Poor kids...  I feel guilty for even thinking it, but I really do believe that some babies are not as cute as those, say on ND.

    LOL. It's true that not all babies are as cute as the ones around here. I have a couple of friends who will straight up tell you that their kids were ugly babies,

    yeah, my cousins twins were not cute at all as babies.  they are getting a lot cuter though now that they're a bit older

    I refuse to make any negative comments on baby, kids, etc. until I'm done having kids.  I feel like karma is going to get me otherwise!  Big Smile

    lol Natalee!  i was kinda thinking the same thing.  a girl i went to school with posted a pic of her son on FB and you just can't help but think that you hope your baby is cute, b/c he was not!  i was thinking that i was gonna get it for that!

    There is a baby that Peter and I know that we refuse to make comments about all together out of fear that the wrong words will just escape our mouths.

    I will just say that this poor child is not only "not cute" (I will refrain from going more harsh here), but also VERY VERY VERY VERY hairy!

    I was afraid my baby would be ugly.  And then I was afraid that she was only cute because she was mine.  It is sad how ugly some babies are though.

    well, i love my lil bro to death but he indeed was one ugly baby! he looked like a little troll doll but once he hit about the 3 month mark he started getting cute and by 6 months old he had no remnants of troll. lol! he's 18 now and i remind him of this all the time. even my mom thinks it's funny and she agrees. he was the youngest of 4 and my other 2 siblings are girls who were so adorable at birth so maybe it was just a boy thing.
