Dorothy

DD #1 is Maxine so I'm looking for an "old fashion" name for DD #2 (I'm on team green but I've got a feeling- LOL!)  Anyway, what are your thoughts on Dorothy, nn Dottie or Dorrie.  DH and I both like it but we're getting a lot of faces from people when we mention it.

Definitely not my style, but I think it goes very well with Maxine. And Dottie is cute.

I would never have thought to use it, but you know, old lady names are coming back in style. Plus, it reminds me of "The Wizard of Oz".

Eh, it's okay. I don't love it. What about: 

Pauline, Paulette, Therese, Diana, Lucille, Virginia or Judith (Judy)?

love Pauline, Frances, Helena, and Bridget.  I love Matilda but I think it would be shortened to Matty which is too much like Maddy (we know a boat load).  Love Hazel and Eleanor but there's one of each in our social group. the rest NMS.  Love the ideas though, thanks!!!
