What do labor buddies do?

All this time I've been on ND and I've never investigated this part of our board culture. What is a LB?

I've never had the chance to be a labor buddy, but from what I understand, the labor buddy keeps the board updated when the mommy goes into labor.  The labor buddy can give as much information as the mommy wants, including pics of the little one.

Eleise is correct.  Also, if you don't want the information on the board, your LB can email all of the girls on the list to let them know about the arrival of your little one.  Since you're going to be more than busy in the hospital and we're all going to be anxious to hear your news, the LB is like your liason to the board.  That's my understanding anyway

Aw thanks I totally cheated and put Blayne and Cristina's doc appts in my phone so I would get a reminder when they were going to the doc and I would make sure to text and ask about it.  I like to be an informed LB (and friend)
