Hi Ladies,
I just found out I was expecting late last week, not exactly sure how far as my last 2 months I have one had 1 day periods with spotting for a day or two after. I see my ob-gyn on wednesday for my first appointment. My concern is I had a Cold Knife Cone Biopsy (Conization) in October of last year and was told that it could pose problems with pregnancy but we were not planning on getting pregnant (or at least anytime soon) so I did not question any further. If anyone has had this procedure and can tell me what to expect I would really appreciate it!!
Thanks!!
Re: Cold Knife Cone Biopsy
well 1st off congrats. and i have no idea what to tell you on the cold knife cone biopsy.............i thought it was a new flavor at coldstone creamery when i opened your post!
I had a LEEP 2 years ago and my OB is just monitoring my cervix closely to make sure it doesn't get too thin or short. If it does, then she says she will put a cerclage in (which is a stich that keeps your cervix closed). Usually you get the cerclage done between 14-20 weeks I believe. You can google "cerclage" for more info.
