LO getting tubes..

Has anyone already done this? My LO is 7 months and has had fluid in her ears for some time now so they are putting tubes in next month. Should I be worried? What should I expect a very cranky baby for days or just a little while?

    My DD, now 8, had tubes put in her ears when she was around 9 months.  The hardest part for me was seeing her after she was done because she was so drugged!  She wasn't cranky at all afterwards though.  I gave her tylenol the first day and was fine.  I can tell you that I saw a dramatic change in how many ear infections she got afterwards.  It was as if she was a completely different baby.  G/L!

    My DS got his tubes at 5 months and honestly he was a litte cranky and out of it for a couple hours after but he took a nap and was super happy after that.
