What goes on at the 15 month appt?

DS has his Wednesday.   Besides shots (what fun!) and height/weight.

We didn't have shots (on normal vaccine schedule) but basically her pedi just did an eval of motor and social skills. Nothing special. It was a very short appointment.

No shots at 15 months and we have a normal vaccine schedule. They basically eval them for delvopment at this point. Height, weight, etc

Just had ours today.  He got 2 shots, height, weight, etc.  We talked about physical and social development.  She said she would like to see about 20 words at 18 months.  Asked about identifying body parts (which he can do), babbling, reading to him, etc.  We talked about discipline for acting out and eating (variety, portions, etc).

Pretty short and uneventful visit.

we were asked how many words DS was speaking

and was told that at 18m, ds would have to identify body parts (he is good at doing htis because we practice w/him) and have to stack blocks.
