Luckily our friends and family have been so good to us and I've been using gift cards for everything additional that we've bought so far (aside from the furniture which we bought ourselves back in April.) I can't even imagine what the expenses are going to be like once we have to start buying diapers and formula though.
I have to remember that I'm paying up front for the diapers I will be using for a LONG time, so that's not a reoccurring cost, and with breast feeding we won't have to worry about formula costs.
If I'm paying for day care, that will mean that I at least have a job! If I was going to have an income these next few months I wouldn't be so concerned but being self employed means no paid maternity leave!

I keep on forgetting that you are a cloth diaper girl. Between that and breastfeeding that will be a HUGE savings. Now we need to get you some more photography clients.
I hear you on the getting expensive part. Our families have baby showers after the baby is born, which is fine, except we kind of need somethings before, so we hit up the city yesterday and bought everything I could think of that we needed ASAP.
