TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Survived the HSG

I'm back and feeling a bit drippy between the legs.

The long freaking wait in the waiting room and the $176 copay was the worst part. Oh and the fact it was a male doctor... I'm a total dork and don't like boy doctors down in my business.

Hurt like a mofo but was over literally in about 30 seconds.

Oh - and since I'm such a smarty, I packed along a pad for the drive home... to attach to the g-string I was wearing... Tongue Tied

Re: Survived the HSG

  • Mad props for wearing a g-string to a HSG.

Glad it's over.  Did the doctor mention anything of note?

Oh no!  Sorry about the g-string, but it did make me smile a little!  I'm glad it is all over.  Did you take the day off so you could relax in sweats and hopefully some granny panties or something?

  • Glad it's over and I hope that pad stayed in your g-string! Did the radiologist say anything to you about the results?

    Oh yeah.. the important stuff...

Part of why it's was so quick (I'm assuming) was because it was good.

Doc was nice and showed me the pic on the machine and said "your doc will get the formal report in a day or two but everything looks perfect... really, it's exactly what you'd want to see here."

  • I'll just give you mad props for wearing a g string in general . . .Embarrassed

I hope it went alright - I found from mine I was tired that day - so I give you permission to rest and do nothing!!

m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

  • Glad it was over quick. The only male dr I don't mind is the cute one at my RE's office. He was the one who did my transfer that was successful and I am thinking of requesting him for the next one.
