LO is 10 months old. We have traveled with him before (3 months and 8 months) but now that he is mobile I think we need distractions of the super kind! Thanks

Re: Help! I need to know what toys to bring on the plane.
I find snacks tend to hold attention more than toys...but we take stickers as a 'fun' treat since I don't usually do them at home much.
In my bag for this week's trip (we go on Friday, me and the kids alone...yikes!!) I have lift the flap books, a few auto-reader books, stickers, aquadoodles, and lots of food. Oh, and a magnetic princess dress up toy for DD.
I agree that snacks are better than toys. DD barely played with any of the toys I brought for our flight (at 12 months). She prefered the sky mall magazine and plane info in the seat! I would just try to get some small toys that he has never seen before. 10 months is hard because he is small for a lot of good plane toys.
Things that can't be thrown far
We did a magna doodle on the way home (it is a bigger kid toy, but you never know) and it's pen is attached to the board.
DH also found these cute little boards with a picture drawn on them and a whole lot of wholes. Then you just string a tie through them. G seemed to enjoy that too.
We brought books for him to flip through, some Elmo DVDs and snacks.
