Food for an afternoon outdoor birthday party?

starts at 2pm....not really a meal time, so I'm thinking snacks-but I would like it to be plentiful.  What would you serve?

Re: Food for an afternoon outdoor birthday party?

  • My sister is serving snacks at her DD's first birthday so:

    Chick-fil-a nugget platter

    fruit platter

    veggie platter

    cupcakes

    snowcones

    juice boxes and water

very simple and easy clean up.

  • I am going to bring a fruit platter and a cold taco dip. Unless you want me to bring something else?

  • I figure it's something Ava friendly (the fruit) and we know that we have no problem tag teaming a taco dip ;)

  • She lives on fruit, she's fine! Don;t worry about her, I'll bring her some snacks!

  • I would say fruit tray, veggie/dip tray, chips and dip (or salsa), maybe just a small sandwich tray?
