BWH visitors policy?

Does anyone know how the visitors policy works at BWH? The website says 1-8pm, but really what I want to know is, can just anyone come up to the recovery (i.e. post-delivery) floors, or do you have to grant permission for them to be let up past security? Thanks!

There is a security guard at the bottom before the elevators and once the visitor arrives, the security guard calls up and asks if its ok for the visitor to come up. If permission is granted, then they can take the elevators up. The security guard presses the button to the certain floor on his control board, and the visitors can not travel to any other floor. its very safe.
