Harry Potter World opens in Orlando....(CLICKY POLL)

So who's excited about this?  I do love the Harry Potter Books.  Have seen some of the movies, but for some reason can't get into them like the books (I listed to some of the books on CD and that was great, I loved the reader and his voice).   The Harry Potter world at Universal looks amazing!  I think it would be so cool to actually feel like you are there, in the story. And Universal has great and unique rides.   Can't wait to hear how it goes and what people think. We will go eventually but not in this crazy hot Florida weather and not when it first opens!   How do you all feel about it?

    DH is actually more excited than me to go! He read me a whole article about it online today. I've been getting random updates from him about ticket prices and package deals. Maybe a secret get-away is planned!

    my best friend from college is a sculptor and his company (based in VT) build that whole "world". How freaking cool is that???

    I was just watching the commercial and realized how much I wanna go! I never read all of the books, maybe half of them....but I would still love it!

    DH and I are both really excited! We were actually planning to go this weekend, we were supposed to leave Sun. We were looking forward to it for awhile. But, saving for the adoption has really used up all our money, so now we can't afford it Sad But we still plan to go eventually!
    After 2years TTC and 1yr,2mo waiting for an adoption match, our blessing is here!

    I'm definitley going to visit but I am going to wait for it to die down.  Since I'm an Orlandian and we have season passes, it makes it easier to go later.  But it look awesome!  We would drive by and see the pointed roof of the castle sitting on the ground peaking through trees! LOL  Pretty cool!!

    I have a friend that is training some of the operators because his company makes some of the robotic parts or something of the sort.  I told him he needs an assistant <.<  But really I want to go but I'm sure it will be a few years.  Hopefully the lines will die down by then!

    I'm going in September!  So excited.  I'm a huge Harry Potter (nerd) fan.

    My BIL worked on this project (he is an artist for Universal) so he and my sister were able to go before the public opening.  They were able to go to all the shops and drink butterbeer without the massive crowd.  I'm jealous!
