how goes the life of leisure

I loved not having a job. Aside from the financial implications, I regained my sanity, which was a total bonus.

It's very good.  Different, but good. I have never not had a job and so far I haven't been able to just sit and do nothing.  I am still getting caught up from being so busy for the last couple of years.  All these little projects still need to be done around the house and I have a quilt to finish.  Not to mention I am right in the middle of that pesky thesis.  I have a feeling I won't be unemployed too much longer (maybe just a few weeks) so I am trying to get everything done so I am not overwhelmed with starting a new job AND doing IVF. 

Like you, I do feel like I have regained some of my sanity in just the 5 days since I quit.  It's actually nice to not have the weight of the world on my shoulders for once.  I feel like I am giving a genuine smile for the first time in a long time. 

How are things for you?  Any fun weekend plans?

Take full advantage of all the time! Especially if you won't have too much of it! You'll miss it once you get a new kick butt job. 

What's the thesis on?? I'm always impressed by people who can do such hard work, I don't know that I have the concentration to do something like that 

No plans for the weekend, cleaning---whoo hoo fun times. It's so hot down here that I don't even want to leave the house. The only reason I live in Florida is for the "winter" the summer makes you want to cry. What about you, any good plans?
