Father's Day Plans?

What is everyone doing for father's day this weekend?

I need to run out to get a card for DH from me, the pups and the bean.

We're stopping over my parents house for lunch to see my dad.  I still have to run out to get cards for my dad and Brian and a gift for my dad.  I already have the diaper bag that I bought Bri from Dad's Gear but I still have to wrap it.

I got Timm two cards, one from me and one from K and our pup. 

We're going to dinner tonight to celebrate since we have friends coming into town this weekend. 

I got him the book and I think I am going to go out today and get him some athletic socks.  He is always complaining about blisters from his work boots and I think it is because his feet get sweaty.  He is too cheap to buy himself expensive socks because he wants to buy a new bike at the end of the year.

I am not getting him anything fun besides taking him to dinner at a restaurant of his choice.

H is working and I'm taking him golfing on his day off and buying him golf gear- when he's done work we'll go up to his parents for a family gathering.

  I am also framing some great new 'grad' pics of the kids- Q made him bbq sauce at pre school and a card and Miss P made him a key chain and a card..

We are having a relaxing day at the house.  We may go to the water park on Sunday.  We are going to grill, and I am going to make cannoli for desert.

I get to share fathers day with my birthday this year, so we came up to Dallas to celebrate my birthday and so I could see my dad, then I told DH hecan do whatever he wants tonight and tomorrow, which will probably involve drinking with his buddies and sleeping in. I think we will go out to dinner tomorrow. I got him a ratcheting wrench set because that is what he wanted.

Tomorrow we have birth class all day so that's going to take up most of Father's day, then my dad is coming over and we're going to grill.

He didn't really do anything for me for Mother's day so I'm determined to trump that as least. I got him 3 board books. "Daddy Kisses" "How do Dinosaurs love their Cats?" (he loves dinos and cats ) and "I Can't Wait To Meet My Daddy".

Now I just have to decide if I want to give them to him before or after our class...

This is my last weekend at work, and I am on afternoons.  I figure we will stop at my dads for a bit before work.  I might take DH out for lunch maybe tomorrow, we shall see.  I got him a coin set for this year from the LO and a bib that says Luv ya and I love my daddy.

I got Brett a few random things.  A Father to Be card, some shirts and a Blackhawks helmet for him.  I also bought a little Cubs T- Shirt and an Iowa Hawkeyes onesie for in honor of his two favorite teams. 

I would imagine we'll be doing something with FIL tomorrow, but, I let Brett plan those things.  I keep asking him if we're doing anything and he hasn't made any plans yet.  This family isn't really into planning.
