My GD #s were elevated today, so I have to do the 3 hr test next week.  Big bummer.  Any advice on whether people fail the 1 hr and pass the 3 hr?

Not sure on the exact rates for twins....but for general purposes....

15% fail one hour

Of those, 15% fail three hour

Of those, 15% need meds or insulin

Glad your u/s went well!

I failed the 1 hour and went on to pass the 3 hour test, I think that is pretty common. My only advice is to take something to do, it gets pretty boring sitting there that long.

Same here!  It made me really nervous when I failed the 1 hour but hang in there - I just tole myself whatever the outcome was I would be able to handle it.  Good luck!!
