Yes there are places to nurse at the zoo. One place is outside the MN Trail in the womens restroom there is a little sitting area (with 2 chairs) there is not a lot of room for a stroller so if you can keep that outside it might be easier. Also I believe there is one in a chair in the restroom attached to Kids den (this is a great BIG bathroom) . Also I know there is a Classroom downstairs of the house out at the farm that we had used last year.
Have fun & go as early as you can. We were just there yesterday and found that most "big groups showed up around 10am. Bring some swimmers as they have a "splash pad" that the kids can run thur.
Feel free to ask me any other question you may have We go there A LOT
Thanks so much Payne. We have a season pass this year...we should meet sometime! I have been 3-4 times with B, but I never paid attention to where I would nurse Luke! My little sister is coming with, so she can keep B busy while I feed Luke.
I totally agree with getting there early. We shoot to be there by 9:30 at the very latest. Hopefully I will be able to get all of us organized and out of the house early enough!
You are very welcome. Mr.A would love to meet you at the zoo let me know what days work for you. I am glad to hear you are not going a lone. You older Son is going to LOVE the new area if he likes climbing thur things
Not completely private, but there are some benches in the shade by the bathroom behind the amiptheater that are not on the beaten path. When I went to the zoo with both girls and no other adult, we went in the kids room and I sat on the floor behind the bookshelf and let my toddler run the room. The other adults were very helpful in making sure she didn't escape when entering/exiting. Nice that you'll have help with the toddler though!
I know a single nestie post is not going to radically alter your view of things, but just know that I nursed in public for 1.5 years for two kids and it was the most liberating thing. I always used a blanket with my first, but was really good with the second and just held my shirt very tightly just over my girls face so nobody even would know I'm nursing.
Anyway, life is so easy when you don't ever have to worry about feeding your kid. I have nursed everywhere and never got stared at....including standing up in a really busy hotel lobby! But honestly, even if I had gotten stared at, I definitely gave the vibe "Do NOT MESS WITH ME" because I was doing the most natural thing in the world.

I used the nursing room by the MN trail just last week. It doesn't have much privacy, but better than a bench if you don't want to NIP!
