$99 for Orvidrel trigger......seriously?

Of course I should have ordered this earlier in the week so they tack on $20 for shipping.  I wanted to make sure I had it in case I need it Sunday night after my RE appt Sunday morning.

    OOP is the worst.  I'm lucky that our plan was really good - I only paid $30 for Follistim, Ovidrel, and Crinone.  I think as of June 1st though our co-pays are going up.  I'm not sure, but I think it's still only $50 which isn't too bad.  I'm so done with this.

    I guess I shouldn't b!tch too much since my awesome nurse gave me the Gonal-F which saved me $750!!

    DD(9)DD(5.5)DS(3)DS(born 2/1/11) July 2006, lost a baby at 8 weeks, natural miscarriage , May 2009 lost Zoe Eliana at 17 weeks no reason known, possible under developed organs. Lost two more babies in September 2009 at 7 wks 4 days. Had myomectomy surgery to remove a large fibroid in November 2009.

    That is great that you got the free samples.  I'm trying not to worry about the money part of this because we do have money saved and I know we can handle it, but it just sucks to have to pay thousands of dollars for something that most people get for free.  They also get to have fun along the way - I think we may have had sex for fun just once since I started treatments.  It's just not healthy.

    Yikes - I was just price checking this yesterday.  there's an independent pharmacy in my RE's bldg that sells them for $78 - that was the best price I found.  OOP does suck.  My insurance won't pay for anything that's in conjunction with an IUI - even if they would have paid for it otherwise.
