I bought a pair of sandals and paid $70 for them but feel like that is a lot, especially since the style may only be popular for awhile. How much would you/ do you spend on shoes?
I don't really have a limit in my head, but I try to be practical. But so far the most I've paid is around $100. But I guarentee you that they'll last me forever, that's just one thing I really take care of.

375$ for a pair of Christian louboutin heels. And 180$ on coach flats they were on sale at nordstroms. Yeah I spent wayyyy to much on shoes it's disturbing!
I'm a cheapskate when it comes to shoes. I'll only buy them on sale. My most expensive pair was my wedding shoes and those were $99.00. They were more than I'd like to spend but since they were my wedding shoes I made an exception.
I bought a pair of Coach wedge sandals about 2 years ago on sale for $75. I have never worn them and now they are a tad too small. I guess my feet grew after having DD. I am trying to sell them since I cannot wear them.

I don't really put a limit on shoes. If I love them, I'll buy them. But I REALLY have to love them (and sometimes it takes me weeks to make a decision, LOL).
I'm really cheap with bags and shoes. But, I will occasionally buy something nicer for work if I know it is a classic and I'll wear it for years. I think the most I've spent is a hair over $100 for nice work shoes. And I think I have a pair of nice walking shoes from Dansko that was about $120. I'm not into the Monolos, Laboutins, etc. I don't like paying for a name.
I do walk a ton though and I walk through the heels of shoes regularly. I've got a frequent customer card at the shoe store. If you add in the cost of heel and sole replacement, I've probably spent more on a pair of shoes over their lifetime. I have one pair of MaryJane heels that I bought sometime around 1999. They are perfection. Comfy for walking, appropriate for work, dressy for night, modest enough for a church service but sexy enough to go out in. They were a sample sell off, so they couldn't have been more than $35. I've had the heels totally rebuilt, the sole replaced, the strap remade, the buckle sewn back on and the leather patched, the lining replaced. And they're still going strong. I call them my bionic shoes.
the most i've spent is $325 on a pair of manolo blahniks that i bought on sale. it was a one time splurge. i've spent $150-$200 on boots, including my uggs. for me, shoes over $100 are expensive and i have to really want them to spend that much for them. my average shoe costs around $60-$70.
The most I would spend is probably $250. The most I have spent is about $125. On average I spend about $60-$70. I love shoes and I have more than the average person so I try not to find deals so I can get more. If they are practical like a cute pair of black flats or heels, then I think spending $125 is worth it. If they are trendy and will obviously just be in for a season there is no way I'd spend more than $70.
BTW, I'm wearing red shoes today and they make me happy.
The most I would spend is about $150. ?On average I spend $60 to $80 dollars. ?I have become very good at getting high end name brand shoes for less than half the original costs. ?Its about the only time I use coupons.?

Depends on the shoes. I spend most of my time in flip flops so I get $20 reefs because they are the most comfortable for me. I have spent 300-400 on a pair of boots, but wore them everyday for 3 years in the winter and even had then resoled. Totally worth it imo010
I spend about $85 on my sneakers. I've fallen in love with Brooks sneakers. They help my back SOOO much. I don't mind spending the extra money on them to keep my back from hurting.
Dress shoes for work I try to keep around $30 or less.
I spend $195 on rain boots, I have Uggs and multiple pairs of Coach shoes. I have a problem. Anything over $300 is just crazy IMO.

$120 on a pair of Coach leather pumps - at Marshalls!
DH, on the other hand - $250ish for Cole Haan's.
I take good care of my shoes and don't buy them all that often. I don't mind target either! DH on the other hand, beats his shoes up terribly and he is shoe crazed on top of it. He probably buys a new pair a month, not necessairly Cole Haans, but something. He's got an addiction.
The most I would probably spend would be $100-120. Normally I spend about $60-70 unless it's something I buy on sale. I could spend more but DH would kill me!! *lol*
The most I've ever paid was $75. I was drooling over the $800 Christian Louboutin's over at Nordstrom's the other day. Wouldn't that be crazy to pick up a pair of those beauties and not have to think twice about it.
$100 for running shoes, probably $50 for all others. I paid $50 for a pair of red heels. I love them and they are more comfortable than most of my other heels with less height. I won't pay much more than that, because I buy a lot (too many) shoes.
I will spend a lot of moolah on shoes because quality is worth it for work shoes, they hold up and polish up so much better. I will spend a couple hundred and get Stuart Weizman, they last 4 times longer than a Nine West for example. For casual shoes I won't spend nearly as much.
$50, absolute maximum. I just don't spend money on shoes, I don't care enough about them. I'm pretty sure my wedding shoes were $29.99, and I LOVED them, and they were sooo comfortable.
Camera equipment is where all my extra money goes these days.
Re: What is the most amount of $$$ you would spend on a pair of shoes?
$120 for dansko sandals and I don't regret it.
I never buy shoes either but sometimes you just have to do it.

My running shoes cost around $120. Not bad for running shoes except that I need to buy new ones every 3-4 months.
All my other shoes are cheap. Its been ages since I've bought a non-running shoe, I'd probably keep it under $50.

OMG! I love my danskos. I have fantastic sandals, and a couple pairs of clogs.
