Ovidrel after IUI?

Hello all,

I had my post-IUI bloodwork to check my progesterone level today and it came back a little below normal (I had back to back IUIs on Sunday and Monday).  So, I was asked to take a second Ovidrel shot.  Apparently it boosts progesterone.  Has anyone else had to take this Ovidrel post-IUI?  I just thought it was interesting to take after after ovulation.

Yup, I've done hcg boosters with my IVF and will again with my FET.  It's LP support.  Though usually I do several boosters of smaller doses than the original trigger.  It will screw up POAS too, just FYI (in case you didn't know.)  Makes me nuts!

Yes, I did read that it screws with POAS - but on the bright side, this will keep me from obsessing and testing too early!

Yes, last cycle they had me take it at 7dpiui after I got my blood drawn but even before they save the results. They said that because i chronically have low progesterone that they will be having me do boosters. Good luck!!!!
