TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Hey there!  I was hoping you'd let me pick your brain with a protein question.  I try to get a good amount of protein my diet and most of that comes from lean meats, but there are times I just don't have or don't want any more meat.  I was wondering what your thoughts are on protein powders, as well as whey vs. soy.  I read in your blog that soy is not good for ovarian health.  Anyway, I'd appreciate anything you are willing to share.  Thanks.

  • I am an avid fan of whey protein powder myself. I avoid soy like the plague.

    I lurve me some coconut milk-based smoothies with whey protein powder, mm mm good.

  • Awesome!  My DH makes some chocolate and banana protein shakes and they are so yummy.  I'm glad to know I can keep on enjoying them as a source of protein.  I'll have to try the coconut milk version, as I love coconut pretty much anything.  Thank you!
