Mosquito bite that is swollen to the size of a quarter..

Yuck...I swear I am allergic to all sorts of bug and spider bites. It is taking all of my willpower not to itch it. DH has already slapped my hand away once. I know scratching only makes it worse, but omg this sucks.

    Im allergic to them too.  They swell up huge.  Once I couldnt bend my knee it was so big.  Ice helps!

    Toothpaste!! Or do you have nasal spray? Flonase? Nasonex? They have an antihistamine in them. Spray it right on the bite. Takes the itch away.

    Ice helped bring some of the swelling down, but made it itch more. It was bigger an hour ago.

    My grandma used to swear by a dab of dish soap.  Hope it stops bugging you.  (Wow, I so did not mean that to be an awful pun.)

    you too! i just go three bites that swelled up to about 3 inches in diameter in five minutes! i took benadryl and put on some hydrocortizone and unfortunately thats all we can do..they should come up with a remedy for this allergy thing
