Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Is this possible?

A co-worker said that when she had an m/c at 6 weeks she had no signs or bleeding. In fact, her hormones remained the same until she confirmed it. She said her body disintegrated the fetus so that's why she didn't have any symptoms. Is this possible for a majority of m/c's?

  • It's possible. I had no signs of bleeding and absolutely no cramping. I was shocked when my doctor told me that my betas had gone down to 5. Later I got what pretty much was like a really heavy AF, but not until a few days after I found out about my miscarriage.
  • Yes, unfortunately it is possible.  It's a missed m/c.  I found out my baby had no heartbeat at 11w3d.  Baby measured 8w1d because it did start to shrink.  My body gave NO SIGNS that something was wrong until I started bleading heavily two days after we found out.  I'm so sorry for your loss!!!
