I want to set up a consultation for late August/September, when I finish 6 cycles of trying post-miscarriage.

There are some insurance issues to work out, but the nurse assured me that all will be sorted and I can set up my appointment in about a month.

I feel kind of scared and kind of excited at the same time.

That's a big step and I understand feeling scared.  I hope the doctor can figure you the right plan to give you your take home baby.

Of course, my first choice would be you getting a BFP soon and not even having to go.

Good for you!! I know it is scary and exciting because I just set up my appointment this week. I am really looking forward to it but I am secretely hoping that this break/natural cycle will somehow be the miracle one so I don't need to go with his treatment plan!

I think that's great...I know I felt relieved when we set up our appt back in March. Of course medicine in Argentina is in the dark ages (not really, but they definitely aren't up on their TCOYF) so I'm super frustrated with my RE and every other doctor I've spoken with about this.

But I hope you get the answers and a plan for getting KU, but really hoping that you get your BFP before!!! Good luck!

It is a huge step and I hope that you get to cancel the appointments.  Good luck with the insurance, I hope they help you with that.

This.  I hope that, if that can't happen, your RE gets you on the path to a sticky LO ASAP.

I hated doing it and felt like I was making the "I'm an official failure" call but the scheduling nurse was so kind and understanding (yep... I started crying when I made the apt).
