Construction Vent

Our road is getting fixed this year.  Which is fine, except we got a letter two weeks ago when they started that we could park in the drive way the entire time of the construction.

Tried to go to work on Tuesday, there was a 3 foot hole at the end of my drive way.  Fine, we get a ride, our neighbour gave the construction people a piece of her mind that they should be letting us know when we can't get out of the drive way when there is a vehicle in the drive way.

Today, there is a 2 foot pile of dirt at the end of our drive way.  We have a Jeep with 4x4 but I am worried if I go into labor before they are done and I can't get out because of them.

I am thisclose to calling the town and explaining I am due next month and I would like them to let us know when we will not be able to get out or I will be using their bull dozer and driving my butt to the hospital and if my water breaks in there, good.

It takes 2 seconds to say hi we are working infront of your drive way, did you want to move your jeep?

Sorry, I just worry about not getting to the hospital because we can't get out.

Ugh, I would be annoyed too. Hope they get it finished up asap!

You should definitely give the town a call. You don't want to be caught in your home while you are in labor.

THat is totally unreasomable. I would def call the town and request some type of schedule. You are nicer than PG Krissie. I would have yelled at them the first day.
