Q for c-section mommy's - "burnt sensation" above scar

Hi girls,

I just had a quick question. For the last few days I noticed the part of my belly above the scar (the part thats completely numb due the c-section) feels like its got a bad sunburn when I touch it. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Other than that I don't have really much pain. Just standing up after sitting for a longer period of time feels a bit painful, like my body needs to "stretch" that part of my belly.

Also, I still feel my uterus about 2 fingers under my belly button...I thought it would shrink much faster. What are your opinions on this?

I've got a gynecologist appointment July 1st, but if my symptoms aren't normal, I might just call my regular doctor to have it checked out.

I don't know about the scar question, but I wore a postpartum support belt and I really felt like it helped my uterus shribk back quickly.
