anyone take paxil while pregnant?

Hi,

I know its not advised for pregnant women to take but I have heard some people that have taken it and been fine. I am currently weaning off Paxil with the help of Zoloft but I don't feel like it does the same thing, as least not yet. I realize I have to be patient but I thought I'd see what you guys have experienced about Paxil.

    no but the lady who does my hair is pregnant and is on paxil. her OB said that she was fine with her being on it. i would say like anything else you just need to be sure about it and research

    I have been on Paxil for 7 years and I was on it throughout my pregnancy.

    My doctor said that without Paxil, I would suffer and an unhappy mommy makes for an unhappy baby.

    I was closely monitored throughout the pregnancy and my son was born perfect!

    He is 8 months old now and he is perfectly healthy...10 fingers, 10 toes..hilarious and super sweet and has hit every milestone and development marker as any other baby.  

    You will be just fine and so will baby!
