Does anyone have this? We're in the market for 2 new booster seats and I was thinking about the Britax since we love the Marathons, but I haven't purchased anything yet because of the $$ factor. Then I was looking at the Chicco website and they have a booster seat now (along with the double stroller I wish I had 2 years ago...) Anyways, I love our Chicco infant seat and would assume the quality would be along the same lines, but was wondering if anyone had this...
Thanks girls!
Re: Chicco Booster Seat?
Check your state laws-- none of your kids look old enough to be in a booster. It's 4 years AND 40 lbs here, and in most states.
I plan to put DS in a Graco Nautilus. It harnesses to 65 lbs, then becomes a high backed and then a backless booster to 100 lbs.
DS - December 2006
DD - December 2008
Crap, I thought this was a 5 pt for a while then the 'booster'... back to square 1.
Its not a big rush, but my tiny baby isn't so tiny anymore. At 4 months, he weighs just shy of 20 lbs and will outgrow the infant seat soon...
I'll have to check out the nautilus... thanks!
Are you moving your older two, then putting the baby into one of the Britaxe? (don't know if that's the plural of 'Britax' lol!)
If so, I'd strongly consider the Graco Nautilus. I think someone else mentioned it. It's FF only (not sure of the age of your middle child), will harness to 65#, then converts to both a high-back booster and a backless, both which are rated to 100 lbs. It has a seated height (bum-shoulder) of 18"
For a Britax option, the Frontier is similar to the Nautilus, but has a seated height to 20" and I think will harness to 85 lbs.
I'm not familiar with the Chicco seat. Is it a 5 pt harness to booster?
I'd probably go with a Graco Nautilus for your oldest. Unless he's really tall, it should last for another couple years as a harnessed seat before you need to switch to booster mode.
I'd keep your 2yo in the Marathon, either rfing or ffing.
I'd move the baby into the 2nd Marathon rfing.
I'm assuming you don't have any trouble fitting all 3 seats in the car since you already have 2 Marathons and an infant seat?

I didn't notice the Chicco was not a 5 pt harness, so its out of the question. The oldest I would put in the 5 pt booster, the 2 year old will stay in the marathon and the baby will go rear facing in the marathon.
I'm leaning toward the nautilus and definitely whatever I decide he will be 5 pt harnessed as long as I possibly can.
I really wish the carseat fairy would drop off the britax frontier at my door!
Thanks for the input!
