Does your LO wear socks to daycare? I know that in centers they must wear socks, but with in-home I'm not sure. DD is not standing or crawling yet. If I put socks on her, she just pulls them off.
DD is at an in-home daycare and I don't send her with socks on anymore. She isn't walking yet but she is crawling and pulling herself up on things. I always have a pair in her bag. But she would always pull them off or get them all wet from chewing on them.
The teacher in the infant room actually suggested I send Evie in footed outfits,(When I specifically asked!) She said they spend a lot of time hunting down socks and wrestleing them back on to little feet. So, I have been going to Walmart and Target and buying cheapie footed outfits that will be for daycare use only. Walmart has som sore $4 and $5. Considering I need a week;s worth of outfits, plus 3 spare outfits I don't want to spend a lot for daycare clothes!
I think we are going to do our daycare trial run either Tomorrow or Tuesday...

I can't believe Evie is already 3 months old. Where did the time go?
Our center doesnt' require wearing socks. John does in the winter or when it's chilly, but not right now when it's so hot out. They go outside during the day and it keeps him cool. I'm assumign you are going to send her with an extra change of clothes,we always have 2 extra changes for John. We have 2 outfits in 2 freezer size ziplock bags and there are socks in both of them just incase.
I know!! I can't believe she it eaither! She is getting so big. She gained 8 pounds and grew 4 1/4 inches in 12 weeks! My Teeny Preemie is now a chunky monkey!
3 weeks
12 weeks... same dress!
These are from facebook, so hopefully you can see them!
I did the first few days and then I gave up, lol. We have 3 pairs of socks that will actually stay on his feet.
I asked DCP if she would mind if he was sock/shoe less and she said it was fine. Of course, he isn't close to crawling or walking, etc.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!
My favorite money saving tip: I've earned more than $300 in gift cards (Amazon, Starbucks, Southwest!) using SwagBucks for internet searching - and you can too!
It's FREE and EASY!

Yup she will have several extra change of clothes, I'll probably through socks in, but she doesn't wear socks at all now.
I don't like it when babies wear socks w/o shoes- they just fall off. I used to put a paid of E's robeez on the infant I was watching in the winter, so his socks wouldn't fall off- at the time I was really pregnant and watching 2 toddlers so the last thing I needed was to be "chasing" socks.
DD goes to in-home DC two days a week. I send her with socks, but usually when I pick her up she's barefoot. She pulls at them a lot plus it's hot so she doesn't need them on.
Re: really dumb daycare question

I never realized centers required socks.
Aiden wore socks with his sneakers in the winter, but now that he's in flip flops, he doesn't wear socks.
I would send her how she is comfortable, and put a pair of socks in her bag just in case.

I swear I saw something at one of the daycare centers I interviewed a few weeks ago. I may be wrong. I understand shoes for kids who walk.
