18 week anatomy scan question

I went in for a check-up today, Dr said everything looked good and went ahead and scheduled my anatomy scan for 7/19. I will be 18 weeks then.. I have been reading that most have theirs done around 20 weeks or so. I know its only a 2 weeks difference but I was just wondering if anyone here had theirs done at 18 weeks, and if they were able to get a good accurate reading? Just curious

I had mine (this and with my daughter) between 18-19 weeks.  Everything was clear as day.

18 weeks here too, we were able to see it all and the tech got great measurements.

If you couldn't get good readings, then your doctor wouldn't have scheduled the u/s for then

I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks 4 days when we saw that it was a girl, then my real anatomy scan was at 18 weeks 3 days and still obviously a girl.

I wasn't questioning my doctor, just curious about others.

i had my scan at 18 weeks and could see him very well. measurements were great and clear as day. they do them anywhere between 18 and 22 weeks. all is great! good luck at your anatomy scan!

Yup, 18 weeks. It's a boy and you could see, clear as day!

Mine was done at exactly 18 weeks. Doc got all the measurements and info they needed, we were able to find out we were having a boy, and got some great pics!

I believe the typical range is 18 -22 weeks for the Anatomy u/s.

I had mine when I was exacly 19 weeks and the tech was able to get all of her measurments.  I'm assuming you are referring to measurments and not gender in regards to the accuracy....
