Well, not yours (unless you want to-- could be fun! ; )

But the one you threw for your baby. Just trying to get some decorating ideas. I'm really not doing a theme. Just thinking of lots of balloons and plenty of pink....but I guess I could change my mind.

Obviously with a boy I had no pink, just plenty of blue. We went to Factory Card Outlet and got 1st b-day decorations so I am not sure how much help this will be.

This is the cake table where we put most of the decorations. It turned out pretty good I thought.

This was his 1st birthday sign we put up.

For each of DS's bday parties, we went to the party store and started from there. Find something you like and look for coordinating accessories in the same color scheme. I feel like the decor always sorted itself out once I found a starting point.

We had Mexican catered, and this was our table with the plates and napkins. We did a floral and some pictures on this table.

Dessert table. The sign says so sweet of you to come.

We had the party at my mom's house. We had a blast! I bought cute plates, napkins, and used pink cups and forks. We had lots of balloons and happy 1st birthday banner that matched her plates! I loved it. So for all of the pics. I did not really take any before people showed up so it's kind of hard to see things.
