Went to take a look at the daycare around the corner from work and home - really nice even with a waiting list of 1-3 years. Found out you fill out a form, pay them a non-refundable fee of $75 and get a note from your OB saying you're preggo and expected birth date. All this just to be on a list. We don't have many choices, so I'll be writing a check later this week once I get a letter from the OB.

I also had an interview. Since things keep changing around here, I've decided to be proactive and find a job I want to get up in the mornng and go to. So finished my first rounds and waiting to see if I make the next.

Overall a great day - off to write thank you notes and fill out some forms.

Did they say if it was a 1-3 year wait for a newborn?  I can't believe the process now a days.
