We could really use some of yalls powerful thoughts and prayers right now.
DH got hurt a while back in police academy, but didn't think it was anything serious so he just kept fighting the pain thinking it would go away. Well now it has gotten to the point where he can't even stand, let alone walk. His leg has started going numb and its gotten to the point where I have to help him go to the bathroom. The doctor thinks its a herniated or bulging disk in his lower back, and we are taking him in for an MRI this afternoon.
Well, not only are we dealing with him being in so much pain, but he isn't allowed to miss any days of police academy and today was his second day he missed and they dropped him from the academy. His police department is willing to keep him on light duty and start him up in the next academy class (so he would have to start it all over) as long as his MRI comes back with nothing serious ... otherwise he will lose his job!
After me ending up in L&D for stress last week, this is not easy on me. If he loses his job, we lose our benefits, and since we just moved back to WA, I don't have any maternity leave. Plus we are still paying mortgage on an empty house in Texas. All I want is for him to be healed, but its hard to not stress about the rest of the details as well.
Any vibes, thoughts, prayers you can spare would be really appreciated.

Thank you everyone! It was pretty painful watching him today, trying to make it through the car ride and waiting for the MRI. He was covered in sweat from the pain, but luckily, during the MRI they put him in a position that relieved the pain for a few. The doctor should have the results tomorrow so hopefully he can get in to see her and get this recovery moving along.
I've made it about 8 hours without crying and that is a record for the past 3 days! So I just need to remember to stay calm because its not good for me and the little babe ... plus I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and I don't want to get bad results like last time since I have been having contractions all day!
I'm so sorry!
If he was hurt at the academy, he should be able to file workman's comp, right? I know that's not ideal but at least it would be something.
I hope he's ok!!
