sweaty baby???

Baby Charlie gets SO sweaty, even if he is barely dressed and it is nice and cool in here.  Does anyone else have a sweaty baby?  Should we be concerned?

  • DD is also a sweaty one....still. I think it has gotten a little better. Her hair would always get wet when it was in contact with anything. Now it's really just when I feed her & her head is touching my arm.

Dr. was never concerned. Said some babies sweat more than others. Maybe try to keep a cool cotton sheet between you when feeding. It might help a little. hope you have AC.

  • F was a sweaty baby too. He was born in winter and we would swaddle him with just a diaper sometimes since he would sweat through everything. He outgrew it after a few months.
  • Ari and Orchid are both sweating machines. I just assumed it is their Mediterranean descent ...hehehehe  Wink

DD is a little furnace too.  Pedi wasn't concerned provided I left her head uncovered so the excess heat could vent out that way.

DS didn't sweat as a newborn, but he can get quite sweaty now. Our AC was out for a while and the few hairs he has would get all wet and matted when he'd nap.
